In November 2019, I launched the Wisconsin Insulin Price Cap petition—a personal call to action born from years of navigating the high costs of insulin. That effort led to an incredible opportunity: I was invited to speak at Change.org’s All Team Retreat, where I shared my story and advocated for insulin accessibility and affordability in front of more than 200 team members.

Representing the U.S., I joined four other changemakers from around the world, each of us presenting our missions to inspire meaningful change. It was a powerful reminder of how personal stories can drive collective action.

I hosted an episode of Community Table with Beyond Type 1, fostering an open dialogue where guests shared their personal stories and highlighted the critical role of mental health in managing diabetes.

In 2021, I was a guest panelist at the Channel Marketing Academy conference, a marketing group in the CRM space. I discussed "Creative Ideas for Building Your Brand" alongside several other panelists.

I had the joy of joining 50 local authors in Appleton, Wisconsin, for The Bookstore Appleton’s Block of Books event. I was there selling copies of my children’s book series, Rosie Becomes a Warrior.

I served as a guest host for a #CMWorld Twitter Chat, where I emphasized the value of human-centered marketing and the power of purpose-driven strategies in creating meaningful connections.

I hosted an episode of Community Table with Beyond Type 1, creating a safe space for guests to share their personal experiences with body image and eating disorders alongside diabetes. The discussion aimed to empower and encourage viewers facing similar challenges.
