3 Brands I Loved Working with in Spring and Why I'd Recommend Them
3 Brands I'd Recommend After Working with Them in Spring 2025

In late April, I became a Hummingbird. What is a Hummingbird, you ask? Great question! Hummingbirds connects hyperlocal creators with small businesses to spread awareness of their products and brands through social media content creation.

Working with them has been pretty seamless, and they offer a ton of support to their creators! I've been super impressed with their communication, encouragement, and tools. I'm excited to do more campaigns with them shortly, but we're here to talk about the products and brands I enjoyed working with most and why.

So, let's dive in!

Muffits Banana Nut Muffins

As someone with type 1 diabetes, I am very particular about my ingredients. I've been looking at nutrition labels since I was taught to at 10 years old.

I’ve also done a lot of self-work and healing through functional nutrition programming, and I’m currently on the path to becoming board-certified as a health and wellness coach. Because of this, I don't make food recommendations lightly. Food is my love language, so I wouldn’t steer you wrong—promise!

In my opinion, Muffits are to muffins what Lenny & Larry's are to cookies. This brand deserves to be much bigger than it currently is, and it offers better ingredients than Lenny & Larry's.

You'll find ingredients like eggs, egg whites, collagen peptides, coconut flour, almond flour, date paste, banana puree, chia seeds, monk fruit, and more. These muffins are paleo-friendly, keto-friendly, dairy-free, and gluten-free. While I don't love the term "diabetic friendly" on the website, I would say they are blood-sugar-friendly instead. They are not chalky, as indicated, and they must be refrigerated upon receipt.

They have just the right amount of sweetness. I tried the banana nut flavor as part of my spring campaigns with Hummingbirds, and I adored them! For a week, I enjoyed banana nut Muffits for breakfast with fruit and iced black coffee. I felt nourished and satisfied when including them in my morning routine.

It was a fantastic way to start the day, and they were conveniently easy to grab. I'm sad they've run out, and I will buy more! They also have wild blueberry and double chocolate flavors.

I might have to try the wild blueberry flavor next! The Muffits website (linked above) sells the muffins for $29.94 for a pack of six.

Lillie & Pine's Calm Balm

Lillie & Pine is an Illinois-based bath and body shop that sells handmade essential oil-based products, from body scrubs to stain sticks to soy candles and more! I received a few products when working with Lillie & Pine this spring, but one stood out most—their calm balm!

I love rolling it on my skin before bed. I apply it to my neck and wrists. The fragrance notes are Roman chamomile, English lavender, and dark Patchouli. Lavender and patchouli are some of my favorite scent notes, so this was bound to be a favorite as soon as it was in my shopping cart.

As stated on the product page, it definitely promotes relaxation and serenity, which supports a good night's sleep. It's a soothing nighttime ritual that takes seconds.

The power of scent is real.

This product is available on Lillie & Pine's website for just $22.00. It lasts a long time, so it's a good value! Please note: I'm no longer on TikTok, only Instagram. If you see any other accounts with my former handle, that's not me. I've deactivated my account at this time to narrow my social media channels (and keep my sanity).

Naturewell Beauty Dreamy Radiating Body Oil

I also worked with Naturewell Beauty this spring and felt a hint of luxury using their Dreamy Radiating Body Oil. This product is pretty accessible at retailers like Target for just $12.99. As I said, scent is powerful, so the Bergamot notes stuck with me.

I also don't mind a little sparkle! It feeds my inner child, and this product's moisturizing nature felt hydrating, while the shine felt fun.

It's a great product for summer, but don't skimp on the sunscreen. I'd recommend applying your sunscreen first, then the oil, but I'm no expert, so please take my recommendation there with a grain of salt.
